A superbly atmospheric drypoint etching which is bright and unfaded, with excellent black ink intaglio lines, very fine detailing and plate toning, the image size measuring approximately 24 cms. x 19 cms. (9½ x 7¼ ins.) within a very fine but evident platemark and impression on a lightweight wove paper sheet, size of 27 cms. x 22 cms.(11 x 8½ ins.) attached by its top edge to a backing measuring 42 cms. x 28 cms.(16½ x 11 ins.)
Dated in the image.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is excellent.
