Information on Verrall King is scarce, he apparently studied art in London and produced some highly skilled architectural and landscape etchings of various places in England, France, Spain and Italy. Verrall Kings etchings, were usually published in a small, limited editions of seventy-five signed impressions.
Etched with fine plate tone and detail, a fine atmospheric etching which is bright and unfaded in black ink. The image size measuring approximately 15 cms. x 18 cms. (6 x 7 ins.) within a strong platemark and excellent impression, on a medium wove paper sheet size 23 cms x 24 cms. (9 x 9½ ins.)
Pencil signed and titled beneath the image.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is good.
