Exhibited at the Royal Academy.

A superb atmospheric etching which is bright and unfaded, in rich dark brown sepia ink, with raised intaglio ink lines, plate tone and detail. The image size measuring approximately 47 cms. x 28 cms. (18½ x 11 ins.) within a fine but evident platemark and impression on a wove paper sheet size 51 cms. x 31 cms. (20 x 12½ ins.)

Signed in pencil by the artist beneath the image.
