Giovanni Locci, Italian painter and etcher. Pupil of Pietro Annigoni in Florence in the 1950's and educated at Nerina Simi.
Giovanni is considered a successful interpreter of the Tuscan landscape, but his wanderlust led him to document his work through distant lands, such as Japan, one of his favorite destinations. Locci, moreover, was one of the painters who has always kept in close contact with nature, being moved in particular by its colors, from its light and its forms, most of his works were created en plein air.
