Gualtiero Passani; 1926- born in Carrara, Italy in 1926, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts School specializing in watercolour His first painting activity dates back to 1948, the Association of Art Visual Arts which so many painters and sculptors joined Carrara organizing a collective exhibition at the Art Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts on March 15, 1953 with the help of Prof. Alessandro Parronchi and the sculptor Emilio Greco.
This original engraving is bright and unfaded in black ink. The image measuring 10 cms. x 14 cms. (4 x 5½ ins.) printed on a wove paper sheet size 29 cms. x 40 cms. (11½ x 15½ ins.) with full margins.
Signed by the artist in pencil with a dedication in the lower margin.
Unframed, unmounted and blank on the reverse, the condition of the image and sheet is good with handling marks condusive with age.
