Max Unold

Max Unold; 1885-1964, German painter, graphic artist and writer.  He was one of the most important exponents of New Objectivity in Germany.

An original woodcut by Max Unold, printed on laid paper. A tribute to the deceased artist René Beeh depicts Unold, Beeh, and the artist Richard Seewald, in conversation.

This fine engraving is bright and unfaded in black ink. The image printed on a laid paper sheet size 20 cms. x 28 cms. (8  x 11 ins.) with full margins and deckle edges.

Unframed, unmounted and blank on the reverse, with notes in pencil, the condition of the image and sheet is good with handling marks condusive with age.
