'The Porpoise and its Blowhole'
Original 'Dreamtime' serigraph screenprint
Noel Doyle, (1952- ), is a “murri” aborigine, who was born in Mount Isa, Queensland, but has lived in the Cape York Penisula region since 15 years of age.
A screen print has bright and unfaded colouring, printed using the multiscreen processing. The image measuring approximately 34 cms. x 41 cms. (14 x 16 ins.) printed on a medium wove paper sheet, measuring 51 cms. x 56 cms. (20 x 22 ins.)
Signed by the artist in the lower margin as part of the print process.
Included is the original exhibition/gallery label describing how the porpoise recived its blowhole.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is very good with handling marks condusive with age.
