Dr Robert Cecil Robertson; Scottish painter artist flourished 1920-1930's. After marrying the artist Eleanor Moore Roberston they moved to Shanghai. He was a painter of landscapes and exhibited at the Glasgow Institute and the Royal Academy.
An original etching, bright and unfaded, with rich black ink lines and fine detail, shading and plate tone, the image printed within a fine impression and platemark on a laid paper sheet, measuring approximately 32 cms. x 22 cms. (12½ x 8½ ins) with makers watermark.
Signed and titled in the image.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is very good, with handling marks condusive with age.
