Stephen Parrish; 1846-1938, American artist, traveled briefly to Europe to spend time at the Paris Exposition and in the museums of London and Paris. In the company of his friend, Charles Adams Platt, spent many summers on Cape Ann, on the eastern coast of Massachusetts. Parrish took his first etching lesson from Peter Moran, and went on to teach at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and was a full member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers in London and the New York Etching Club.

Signed by the artist in the image.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is very good with handling marks condusive with age.
