Walter Cyril Wallis (1862-1893), little is known about Walter but it is believed that he become Head of the School of Art at Croydon and then a museum curator in Edinburgh.
A very fine lithograph which is bright, unfaded in black ink, with excellent detail and plate tone. The image size measuring approximately 33 cms. x 24 cms. (12¾ x 9½ ins.), on a wove paper sheet size of 34 cms. by 27 cms. (13¼ x 11¾ ins.)
Signed in the image.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and the sheet is good with handling marks and toning condusive with age.
