Willie Rawson; English artist, early 1900's Sheffield etcher, known to have resided at 321 Chesterfield Road, Sheffield.
An original early 20th century drypoint etching, circa 1920, etched with fine plate tone and detail, which is bright and unfaded with black intaglio ink lines, the image measuring aprroximately 19 cms. x 14 cms. (7½ x 5½ ins.) within a strong platemark and impression, on a wove paper sheet size 31 cms. x 23 cms. (12 x 9 ins.)
Signed in pencil by the artist in the lower margin.
Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image is excellent, and the sheet good with a toning to a previous mat window.
