Winifred Fennell

Winifred Fennell; 1916-2010,  Born in Brighton and attended the Slade School of Art 1936-1939, University of London. Taught art at the Franklin D Roosevelt High School for Girls, Salisbury (now Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe). Susequently lived in Spain, Ireland and the U.K.

An original artwork which is bright and unfaded in black ink. The image size measuring approximately 12 cms. x 16 cms. (x  ins.) on a laid paper sheet measuring 17 cms. by 21 cms. (7 x ins.)

Hand signed and dated in pencil on the lower margin.

Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is good with ink to the margins from the initial inking and handling marks condusive with age.
